Community Engagement Coordinator

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Community Engagement Coordinator engages individuals currently or formerly experiencing homelessness. This role fosters trust and rapport, facilitating open discussions about their experiences. The Coordinator connects individuals with lived experiences to feedback opportunities on service delivery, identifies gaps in community services. Along with promoting meaningful participation in community organizing and advocacy with connections to service providers, healthcare providers, and faith-based organizations. These interactions may include one-on-one interviews, focus groups, collaboration with the Street Outreach team, and other community level engagements. The Coordinator relays insights from those with lived experience/expertise to the broader community, including service providers and community leaders.
