What is your experience with the Athens Homeless Coalition (Continuum of Care)?
As a direct care provider, I served on the CoC Board and Landlord Engagement Committee. After changing jobs, I continued to serve the Board as an informal advisor for three years.
What are your ties to Athens?
I have lived, studied, and worked in Athens for 24 years. This city has so much to offer and I feel lucky to live in such a diverse, welcoming, and supportive community.
As the Executive Director of the Athens Homeless Coalition; how do you define success?
One of my immediate priorities is to work with the AHC Board to set ambitious, measurable, and time-bound goals for the Coalition. I am committed to better understanding the scale and scope of homelessness in Athens, advocating for unhoused individuals and families, and supporting our amazing service providers.
