Hurricane Helene Updates

**September 25, 2024**

Hurricanes are really bad to go through, but especially so for those experiencing homelessness. Please help share these updates for this weekend as we get ready for this storm so we can help make it safer for everyone: 

Bigger Vision
- 36 regular evening beds for the first people to call in at 4:00pm at 706-340-6062 with a 6:00pm check-in
- 10 additional beds for the next 10 callers to be added to the "Overflow List"

Salvation Army
- Adding beds for 20 extra men and 10 extra women
- Visit between 4:30-5:30pm for dinner and to request a bed
- HELP IS NEEDED PROVIDING LUNCHES THURSDAY, FRIDAY, and (possibly) SATURDAY
- Contact Jacqueline.Gordon@uss.salvationarmy.org if you would like to help with providing a lunch meal

Advantage Homeless Day Service Center
- Closed Thursday and Friday

Sparrows Nest
- Closed Thursday
- Friday TBD

ACC Library
- Regular operating hours
- May close dependent on weather
